The sky had been painted an eternal shade of black and gray, it was hard to imagine that at one time there was such a thing as a sun. Within the darkened sky was the damned rain. It rained all the time, day, night, sometimes for weeks to months at a time. Maybe it was the Goddess Chaos crying, weeping for Her lost children. He couldn't remember how long it had been since he had been created, only that he had been, and the war was still going on. The sky, in-between the darkness and the rain, would light up sometimes. It wouldn't be from lightening, or anything natural. No, instead it was from the metal from weapons
